After I sold some of my fictions, and other works to a film production company, I have enough money to re-build my home.
The construction company gave me a suggestion, I only have enough money to build a greenhouse. Glass is the cheapest building material, and the workmanship is the fast.
I feel like a rose in a greenhouse, not a melon.
Anyway, there is no other choice.
After one month, I shifted into this new home. I put all the books on the new book shelves, and I found one book, that was a gift from a publisher, "How to live a life; that can go to heaven".
As a science fiction writer, I want to prove there is a heaven and a hell. Or I have heard there are multiple levels of heaven and hells.
However as far as I know, heaven and hells are belonged to the ghosts, not human.
I start reading this book. It was written that lazy, greedy and hatred will go to hell.
And when gone to hell, none of them can come back.
I ask me, "Do I hate anyone?"
Professor Mick Jones drives his car arrives my front door. He bought many boxes, inside which are instant noodles. I need this, I am hungry.
Suddenly a thunderstorm, the raindrops hitting my glass roof, very noisy, the gutter collects rainwater into big cement pots. I suddenly come up with an idea, I take out a book from the shelf, opened it and let Mick read it. It is the book of wind power. That is a page recorded James Blyth's electricity-generating wind turbine. And a photograph of this machine was taken in 1891.
It was a vertical axis wind turbines.
I want to install such a machine in a horizontal way, just like a watermill. When rainwater drops into the cups, it turns the watermill; and when wind blows into the cups, it turns the watermill. Therefore on rainy days, or on windy days, the windmill will generate electricity.
This small Ferris wheel, the cups will lift up water until one cup reached the top, water inside that cup will pour out, and the power of poured water will push down the other cup (the cup that is in front of it). And when the cup reaches the lowest, it will lift up water from gutter.
Mick and I started to make a prototype with bamboo, trying to experiment.
However, the sun comes out; and no wind.
And Mick made my home messy when making the watermill.
From now on, I will only make prototype in Mick's home.
(End)
